 Access to Galway from the US

Our convenient access to all main motorways from Dublin and Limerick mean we are only 50 minutes from Shannon Airport, an hour from Knock Airport and just two hours from Dublin Airport. All airports have direct flights from a number of US city locations including Boston, Miami, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver and many more destinations.

A huge advantage of travelling back to the US from Ireland is that you will pass through U.S. Preclearance facility in both Dublin and Shannon Airport. They are two of only a handful of airports outside North America that offers this facility. The benefit is that having cleared USCBP, passengers arriving in the US are treated as domestic arrivals, allowing them to avoid immigration queues, pick up their bags and go.

With fast and convenient public transport routes departing from just outside our hotel gates at regular intervals we are the prime location for those who choose to use public transport to get around Ireland.

Galway is also located half way through the Wild Atlantic Way route with some of the main discovery points within driving distance from our hotel. Experience this spectacular coastal route where it unfolds the wonders of nature, the power of the ocean and stunning countryside and landscapes.
