The Connemara Pony Festival & Show takes place annually in Clifden, Co Galway and attracts visitors from all over the world.
The Connemara Pony Show is in its 99th year, with a record number of entrants for 2024. The highlight of the festival is usually on the Thursday and Friday of the festival, when the biggest showcase of Connemara Ponies in the world takes place. The Connemara Pony Show in Clifden has announced the postponement of all ridden classes from Thursday & Friday August 22nd & 23rd (due to adverse weather) to Saturday September 28th.

On Saturday September 28th, ponies will compete in in-hand classes, ridden classes, working hunter classes, and a puissance (or high jump) competition. This postponed event as part of the Connemara Pony Show will take place in Galway Equestrian Centre.
