Claregalway Hotel Environmental Plan
The Management and Team at Claregalway Hotel are fully dedicated to implementing a strong and comprehensive Environmental Policy. This includes effective waste management practices and responsible measures to reduce electricity, gas, and water consumption. We are passionate about protecting the environment and continually introduce sustainable initiatives to minimise our impact. Over the years, we have made significant improvements, and with each visit, we hope our guests will notice further positive changes.
As a team, we have proudly embraced our green journey. Our staff are actively up-skilling in sustainability practices and are enthusiastic about implementing meaningful changes that positively benefit both our business and the environment.
Clareagalway Hotel was awarded the Gold Level in Hospitality Green Business Global Certification in 2025 and is currently working on achieving this reward again in 2026.

Help Us During Your Stay
You can assist us to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle during your stay with a few simple steps
- Put used towels in the bath/shower that need replacing
- Hang towels you wish to reuse on the bathroom rail
- Save Water by not running taps and showers unnecessarily
- Place all recyclables in the bedroom bin and all general waste in the bathroom bin
- Help us reduce waste by refilling your reusable water bottle; our team at Bia & Co. is happy to assist you throughout your stay.
