The annual TULCA Festival of Visual Arts takes place in Galway City from November 6^th to 22nd, 2020 (pending government restriction)

Since 2002, TULCA Festival of Visual Art has captivated Galway city with an eclectic display of Contemporary Art. TULCA is a multi-venue, artist-centred festival of contemporary art that works with Irish curators to present innovative exhibitions that provoke and energise audiences into the world of the Visual Arts. Every year TULCA takes place over three weeks in November and is the only festival in Ireland to specifically commission Irish curators who develop a theme unique to the event. Events include guided tours, talks, seminars, workshops, exhibitions in both gallery and non-gallery spaces. A visual arts trail is created through the streets of Galway City, embracing the illustrious culture and ambience for which the city is renowned. There is also an opportunity for schools throughout the city and county to participate in the arts and experience the festival via the art-through-programme.
