Paul Gill

Hello, I am Paul Gill, Directing Manager of The Claregalway Hotel and Chairman of the Galway Branch of the Irish Hotel Federation. I was born in Kenya in 1970 to Irish parents and moved to the Aran Islands when I was only 4 years of age. I studied my base degree at Hotel Management at the Shannon College of Hotel Management & GMIT. I have held senior managerial positions at some of Galway’s most prestigious Hotels, but owning and running my own Hotel was always my goal. In 2004, my wife Nora and I, jumped at the opportunity and successfully opened The Claregalway Hotel.

Niamh Flynn

‘My name is Niamh Flynn (28) and I am from Baunmore, Claregalway, Co. Galway. I currently work for Tattersalls Ireland in Ratoath, Co. Meath, a bloodstock auctioneers. I have always loved horses from an early age having competed in show jumping competitions throughout my childhood. My love for racing began when I joined Derby winning trainer John Oxx’s yard at the age of 19. I developed my racing obsession further in my home county at Martin Cullinane’s yard in Athenry before joining Tattersalls Ireland three years ago. I currently ride out for Grand National winning trainer, Gordon Elliott in Trim, Co. Meath. I rode in the 2010 Punchestown Charity Race at the Festival last may. I am really excited about riding up the famous Cheltenham Hill on Dormouse for trainer Anabel King at the 2011 Cheltenham Festival!’

Tara King

Tara King is the author of the bestselling beauty/fashion book ‘Look Your Best – Featuring Xpose.’
She also ghostwrote three bestselling books including ‘Lisa Fitzpatrick’s Enjoying Style and Fashion’, ‘The Official Autobiography Of Brendan Grace’, as well as ‘Just Imagine A Life Without Illness’ for the bio-energy healer Michael O’Doherty who is credited with having helped Michael Flatley return to full health after a debilitating virus.
Tara, who also has experience in fashion photography, is currently the fashion/beauty correspondent for i102 104 radio.
Having begun her journalistic career at 17 years of age writing for Irish Crime Magazine, Tara went on to research for two crime books before moving to Clare to take up a full time position as staff journalist with The Clare Champion Newspaper where she remained for over four years. While with the newspaper, she covered news reporting and feature writing and established its very first fashion/beauty page.
She is currently working on more books for 2011 and 2012.
